How I Wish My Life Was A K-Drama

To all you crazy K-Drama fans, you would want your life to be like a K-Drama. The drama, the love, the power, etc, you want it all. Although k-dramas may look ridiculous at times, but in the end you'll be laughing your butt off and question WTF just happened. It's so entertaining to watch, you question what the director was thinking when he/she was writing the script. In every drama, these are the most typical characters you will see:

#1 The Chaebol

The rich, snobby, cocky, bad playboy that every girl wants to be with. They're super good looking and have a super big ego. But whatever gesture they do like waving their hands like celebrities or just a simple wink, the girls will fall on their feet. They may look like selfish bastards, but deep down they have a soft side they don't want to show anyone.

#2 The female lead who gets a Cinderella ending

There's almost always a female lead who gets a fairy tale ending. They start off as peasant, taking the burden on their shoulder to go out and be the breadwinner for whatever. The viewers sympathize them and hope their future will be better.

#3 The best friend/rival

Every male lead gotta have a best friend or rival. The best friend is always by the male lead's side. His right hand man, sidekick, VP, whatever. As for the rival, well he and the male lead are rivals. They compete in everything they do; proving who's the best. But they both have one thing in common, they both have a crush on the female lead. Although the best friend doesn't want to admit it as it would put their friendship in jeopardy. But for the rival, he doesn't care and will take what he deserves.

#4 The crazy, controlling mothers who really needs to learn how to chill

The Chaebol's mother. The mother every child wants to have...right...She's the control freak of her son who 'wants the best'. They like to show off their fur coats and want to look the best to show everyone who's the boss. They're very sensitive and very dramatic. You just want to give them a slap sometimes...all the time...

If I could have my life like a k-drama, I would never get bored. I could have a two sexy, lovely men chasing after me, fighting for my love, The chaebol going after the poor, ordinary girl, trying to win her heart. A typical element in a k-drama. We could be stuck in a hotel room because of an unforeseen situation, but nothing helps which makes the fans go crazy. The chaebol (main lead) gives me a hug or the best friend (2nd lead) kisses me, the counter parts go crazy and be like 'WTF. She's mine!!' The feeling of having men chasing after me is a dream, but having to pass Momma bear is a challenge. Just imagining having a mother-in-law like that would be a nightmare. Having to deal with her harsh criticisms on everything is gonna be something I have to learn to endure or I can just secretly kill her and everything will be alright...Nahhh, wouldn't want to get in trouble with the popo. But in the end, it all works out. I get the male lead and we get married while be friends with the 2nd lead. Happily Ever After~~
